Weathered and old the bridge stands. Holding itself high, with an elegance born from years of service, it refuses to show any fragility or weakness. It is as proud and mighty now, as it ever was. If the bridge has learnt one solitary lesson through the years of toil and strife, it is how to stand strong, how to stand still, and how to stand firm.
Sadly, for the foreseeable future blog photos will all be off my camera phone. These two photos were taken of the bridge on the Strines canal. If this bridge was a political system, I cant help but think it would be a Russian communist.
